I think Mark Ronson mentioned that Joanne and some of the ASIB tracks were written simultaneously. 

But I agree, I highly doubt with these lyrics that it was for the film. Maybe they were inspired by similar subjects, but even her enunciation and singing-style is too specific for a movie character.

I mean same... I was not into electronic or dance music at all before Gaga, especially her kind. I got into her because of TIHTY. Even though I didn't originally like Poker Face, I love it now. When I first listened to Born This Way, I loved the message but I found the production pretty unbearable. Same with the whole album tbh. I love it now. 

I used to be a GP member who could only tolerate easily digestible music like ASIB... But I started getting into her stuff and I love everything now.

It's pretty clearly unfinished, but it has potential. Likely will never meet that potential though... I really hope Gaga goes in this direction though for LG7 it sounds amazing!
