The only event remotely positive thing I've seen come out of this is that I've had 2 normally center-right family members reach out to me absolutely outraged.  One was even a former Trump voter in '16.  Both of them said they wanted Trump thrown out of office immediately and are furious with Republicans.  I hope this level of fury isn't unique to them.
