That's what I think as well. It really seems like France get's enormous hype every year and then they settle somewhere in the middle.

I would not be so sure. It feels that the things happening in Palestine are too recent and still ongoing which could affect Israel a lot. Yes, I know Eurovision should be non-political, but the public has their own biases.

I hate when previous winners preforming their winning song in the first semi final. 

We want to hear the song in the Grand Final!!! 

 

Grand Final means: 

- Opening the show with the iconic Eurovision theme song 

- and then performing the winning song 

 

Otherwise it's not epic and it miss something

I expect my country (Romania) to not even qualify to the final. People here just doesn't give a f*ck anymore about Eurovision and It's kinda sad. In 2015 we could have send a potential winner song but we f*cked up and send an overrated song just because it had a political message in it.
