Oh haha. I didn’t watch the live or the video. I guess it could be like wishing she was like the girl her ex is with now and thinking the new girl is “better” than her? The lyrics aren’t exactly cryptic or vague though. Maybe she’s saying thats what it’s about to try to avoid the type of comments she’d get if she’s always writing about exes?

I actually really like this. It took DL awhile to grow on me but this one grabbed me upon first listen. I think I might prefer it over DL
