The issue is double standards and false morals and expectations put on entertainment. It’s not slandering or defending anyone. It’s calling out people who are slandering and defending

This is an ahistorical take. Bible thumpers have been waging this one-sided war against popstars for decades. People who hated Madonna for burning crosses raised their kids to feign hatred over shocking imagery and lyrics in modern pop music. Nas is their successor and he knows it (thought he probably didn't fully understand what it feels like to cause all this conversation lol).
