Sicilian was very much influenced by French because of the Normans, for example apple is "Pomme" in French and "Puma" in Sicilian but there are many other similar words that do not come to mind, what a beautiful language French!

When i imagine Paris i see the lights, Moulin Rouge, a walking, at sunset watch la defense from afar, admire the fireworks on a small balcony in the evening with the lights around me etc ... Paris is so beautiful! In my region and in particular in Palermo the French are affectionately called "cousins"

In fact now that I speak Latin and ancient Greek I am realizing how similar and beautiful our languages are in the same world, Italy and France love❤️⚔️
