This is what gets me. Self made should require coming from NOTHING and building YOUR OWN empire. Not coming from an empire and being "successful" on "your own" even though you already were to begin with.

Could she have launched Kylie without the Kardashian name? Or even Jenner? Nope.

yeah, and then with Kris then marrying Bruce Jenner, which being a olympic medal owner doesn't mean you're rich by any means, but he was still well known. 

Although I do remember when they started KUWTK, heir house actually was not THAT luxurious. It was still obviously super nice but still nothing close to what mansion they moved into when the show hit big.
