Kygo and Sia wrote the song, and the australian singer was the vocalist on the first version of Oasis, which Kygo played live multiple times. The version of Oasis that eventually was released as a part of his debut album, however, doesn't feature Sia's vocals and is sung by Foxes instead (in a vocal style that mimics Sia's at some points). Today, a third version of the song recorded by Zara Larsson surfaced.
