Mr Macron said under the new measures, starting on Friday, people will only be allowed to leave home for essential work or medical reasons. Non-essential businesses, such as restaurants and bars, will close, but schools and factories will remain open. Covid daily deaths in France are at the highest level since April. Franz Ferdinand Popster This Way 996 Posted October 29, 2020 Share Posted October 29, 2020 It's unfortunate, but like most of Europe and the US have shown us, relaxing a bit too much results in another wave (and the cold weather makes this one likely worse).
