The biggest surprise is how Beyoncé is conveniently placed among the '90s or '00s breakouts, capitalizing on her group and/or solo careers. I admit she deserves to be included among the '90s artists. However, my biggest surprise is Madonna. It seems she's slowly returning to compete with Whitney or Mariah, even in streaming, where they've always had an edge. Cindy has written an anthem that alone is bigger than some careers, and she deserves it.

I think in the long run, Espresso will be better remembered because it was the anthem of summer 2024. Furthermore, despite the months that have passed between APT and Espresso, APT is only a few streams ahead of Espresso (3 million vs. 2.5 million). However, Espresso is the song of the summer, it's more iconic, like saying TikTok is bigger than Bad Romance, yes in the charts but not in reality.

I think she prefers to record music for her future projects when she's on tour (Monster Ball > BTW, Chromatica Ball > Mayhem). If we get a deluxe track, it will probably be made up of tracks already written and produced during the 5-year wait between LG6 and LG7.

Even though I think part of the hype was due to the masterpiece What I Was Made For?, HMHAS is definitely one of the best albums of the decade, with strong tracks and a modern classic, BOAF. When the music is good, success will follow. I have no doubt that Mayhem will remain remembered as a great success for the same reason: it's the biggest album of the year, along with Bad Bunny.
