TUN was the height of Ari's imperial era, so this isn't a bad drop from that.

This will probably have some more longevity than Chromatica but the fact that all the twitter annoying stans spent months basically saying Gaga had only to thank AG and BP for Chromatica's success... and now Positions is gonna do less than Chromatica first week.

Yeah this is why other stanbases should keep Gaga outta their mouths. It really ain’t cute...Gaga stays winning always, I don’t know when these people will learn. Gaga having her best opening numbers since 2011, wonder what the excuse for Ari is gonna be...love her but damn her fans sometimes.

I was seeing some of her fans meltdown about this online, but these numbers aren't bad by any means. They may even pick up later in the week if she does some sort of tv spot or something, but even if they don't, it's nothing to be ashamed of.

HDD predicted those numbers for TUN too and went on to sell +100K more, so we'll see how it goes.

Pretty good, happy for her. We're also in the middle of the most contentious election of the modern era while Covid continues to explode throughout the US. These numbers, without bundles, are amazing.
