President-elect Joe Biden and his wife are currently attending a church service at Cathedral of St Matthew the Apostle in Washington. Joining him are Vice-President elect Kamala Harris, Senate Republican majority leader Mitch McConnell, House Republican minority leader Kevin McCarthy and their families.

Biden will become the 2nd Catholic US president, the first being John F Kennedy.
