I live in a cicada hotspot and the local ice-cream store has cicada ice-cream with the actual insect in it. It’s sold out in 10 mins when they’ve had it :dead:

This is where I feel this is a taste bud thing similar to cilantro. The people who love cilantro LOVE IT, then you have the people like myself who think it tastes like soap and loaaathes it.

Mint and chocolate are SO GOOD and taste NOTHING like toothpaste to me. It's wild. :lesson:

I still feel like if you put a tube of toothpaste in the freezer and eat it with a bar of chocolate you’ll get the same result! Each to their own tho! :laughga:

I’m officially tabling a vote of no confidence in @SLAG after the tastelessness apparent in this thread 

 

also Gooey Butter Cake ice cream from Jeni’s is fully incredible

Jeni’s is dangerous.

I can’t trust myself to buy it at the store but I’ve been to the actual shop in Charleston and the ice-cream is heavenly :legend:

Went back a second time while I was there but at least I earned it by running a 10k a few days before  :laughga:
