it's less about the 40M audio and more about trying to stop the stream bleeding from fanmade lyric videos

Remember it took her 3-4 years to properly build up her older audience during talent re-brand and transition to audult format - if she wants to do this, I guess BM is now her start  It could also help her films too, bringing in the younger folk

Lana Del Rey from 2011 has been doing this with her brand for a while now, buidling up a gen Z audience and this climaxed with Taylor collab. Maybe they were going to try with Chromatica (ariana collab, fornite) but abandoned it.
