I voted for ROM and SL. 

But I think that if Million Reasons was the leadsingle of Joanne, and it had the success as it had as non leadsingle. Then I would have described that as daring and showing of your power. As its unusual to have a song like MR as your lead!

I didn’t vote for it, but part of me really wonders what would’ve happened if Paparazzi was the first single. It’s a superior song to Just Dance, but unsure if it would’ve grown in the same way.

I agree. Perfect Illusion was a terrible lead single. Million Reasons would've done better, and it seems like in today's climate Gaga's ballads do better on the charts and people know them better. My parents know and love Million Reasons and they love her ballad songs like ARUTW, Dope, Shallow.

That's what I was thinking, especially coming off of Alejandro/general success of BTW. Applause would have been a great way to end the era just like it does the album. But I see why she made it first since she was coming off of the hip injury
