the song focuses so heavily on the production which gets boring after the first drop 

and the lyrics themselves aren’t good enough to support the song in any other way

The instrumental is very repetitive and obnoxious, the melody is non-existent and the vocals are not very pleasant.

It's a song to enjoy live, not on studio version. The endless drop is traumatizing
