Spotify laid off a bunch of people yesterday as their stock has dropped a lot lately.

Has to make you wonder if they're accepting a little bit more payola from record labels if they're in such a desperate position. Wouldn't be surprised if the consistent streaming numbers for Taylor, Sam Smith, SZA, and now Miley are largely label-backed tbh...
