IMO Joanne is definitelly the better album, I love her vocals in the album, I really like the melodies, the ballads are A+ for me (Joanne still hits me even now and I love both versions) the songwriting is better, the production in this album fits better with her voice (unlike ARTPOP when sometimes I feel like the production there not only gets loud and messy but unfitting aswell) also in this album I can find something nice to say even to my least fav song aka Sinners Prayer, I really like the lyrics in that song + production etc.

The fact they obviously imitated the RedOne style in those two always sounds funny to me (even if RedOne worked on the original version of Gypsy back in 2012 when she was on BTWB Tour, and long time RedOne friend collaborator Rami Yacoulb worked on Fun Tonight)
