Mandatory Identifiable Data Collection and Transfer (MIDCAT) Act

Data is the future and is a valuable resource. It allows us to spot patterns and trends, helping us efficiently allocate precious resources to best benefit the Chromatican society as a whole.

To ensure we have the most up-to-date and vast amount of data, we need to make data collection compulsory. With identifiable data, we can also ensure that our fellow Chromaticans receive the best help, which would be tailored to their individual needs.

The data collected will be handled by an independent body set up by Congress for oversight.

Let's Offer Opportunities for All (LOOFA) Act

Basic needs are no longer limited to water, food and shelter. We have come so far and every Chromatican deserves access to a portable computing device and data connection. All Chromaticans will be provided a government-issued mobile device, subject to upgrades every 3 years, and will also have unlimited data allowance on our state-of-the-art 8G network.

No children should miss out on education just because of their financial circumstances. No adult should have to be penalised on their work performance just because they cannot afford a suitable device and stable connection. No one should ever be left behind in our society.

I urge the Senate Leader @Sir.Sim to approve this bill

The National Liberal Party strives for complete energy independence for Chromatica and as such we want to change the energy mix on Chromatica. Our goal is to build the Great Chromatican Renaissance Dam. This Dam will be able to produce several hundreds of Megawatt which will account for over 20% of our current energy use. This will decentralize our energy net, diversify our sources and take some stress from Mothers Peak. Additionally, we demand that a further CD$10 billion will be used for outer space exploration in search for clean energy solutions

I just got a message from the mayor of North Bend. As their Senator, I was asked to put this bill into the Senate. North Bend wants a local anthem but according to local law they're not able to do this without the permission of the Senate and the House. I hope that both institutions will look at this bill from a neutral standpoint.

The liberal party has thought of a new  progressive inheritance tax that starts at 1.5M CD with 5%. Its maximum is reached when the inheritance goes over 10M CD. At that point 35% of the inheritance will go to the government.

The new wealth tax will have a similar progression but will start with 1M CD at 5% and reach its maximum at 9M with 30%. After that every asset will be taxed with 30%.

Chromatican Healthcare: Operation Kindness and Efficiency (CHOKE) Act

Healthcare should be free for all. No discrimination allowed.

To improve the efficiency of our health services, all Chromaticans will be equipped with wearable health trackers. This will boost early detection, leading to better prognosis. This would also improve the quality of life for each Chromatican, as well as reduce their tax burden due to early medication intervention, significantly reducing the cost of our health services.

that way, besides having another source of energy, we can also offer additional jobs for our wonderful citizens!

Proposals

• The CCRP (Chromatica Citizens Reliabilty Proposal): All of us politicians (including @Nightwing) will be handed a document. These document will ensure our compromise with the Chromatica citizens. We have to fight against this insecurity that our citizens have (totally understand them, we all know what happens when people are provided with power). All of us will be needed to sign this document.

If someone is proven to take money from public resources or uses their power to benefit themselves, they will be demanded to automatically leave their position, will be charged with a big penalty fee, will be obliged to do community services and will never have the possibility to be in a public charge ever again.

• The "No Food Waste" Law: all official establishments (restaurants/food shops/supermarkets) will be required to send the food that wasn't used that will expire to an organization. The establishments will pay 500€ of taxes when doing their economic activity and if they take part in this program, they will be given the 500€ that they paid previously. This organization then will make sure that the food is in good condition for consumption and will offer it at the people who were previously admitted to participate in this program (the people admitted consist of those who are homeless/in danger of extreme poverty/jobless people or workers with low income). The meals will be distributed equally according to the number of family members.

 

• The "Free Electricity" Law: this law protects unemployed citizens/low income citizens who are in charge of a family (the only member of the family who has a salary). This law consists of the free installation of solar panels of the previous group of people mentioned (they need to be in this condition for 3 months minimum) in their houses to help them have less expenses (they won't have to pay the electric bill anymore). Once they are in a better position, they'll start paying gradually for the 10% (minimum) of the total expenses of the installation + solar panel in a gradual way. This means that depending on how much better their situation has become, they'll pay a higher percentage or a lower one (10% being the lowest for the families who are still struggling, they also have the capacity to pay lower amounts of money for more time without any interests). This is also helpful because we con use the geothermal energy to other stuff, taking Chromatica closer to its 100% renewable energy usage.

 

• I propose demanding the electrical businesses that still exist on Chromatica to have at least the 50% of their energy provided with renewable energy. This needs to translate into lowered prices of energy overall.

 

• It consists of citizens that offer themselves to clean the rubbish and potentially endangering objects such as mirrors that could cause a fire in our beautiful forests. The people that will be allowed to enter in this program will have to be jobless people. The higher the probability of extreme poverty, the higher possibilities they have to enter. They will be paid according to the amount of rubbish they collect (always ensuring a minimum wage). If somebody is proven that they don't work, they won't have the chance to enter to any other benefits offered by the government. Of course, their worker rights will be taken into consideration. The people that are working will be changed every 3 months to ensure equality. The people that worked during the one period can't apply for the program until 3 periods next (every 6 months).

 

• The "Cruelty Free Food" Law: This law is quite easy. All the establishments that treat with animals for their later consumption will be demanded a document that explicitly states they will follow this law. If they don't follow this, they will have to pay a penalty fee and their commercial activity must cease indeterminately. This law obligues them to put cameras to make sure there is no violence used against these animals.

The Green Party presents an updated energy bill to the HoR

Dark-Matter Integration Act- DMI Act

1. The act sets in motion the way to the future of boundless renewable and sustainable energy, whilst keeping the current ways intact until such a time DM Energy is prevalent.
2. Allows for relationships with intergalactic neighbours and builds a new empire with the help of G.O.A.T officials to ensure we have equivalent exchange as well as Regenerative harvesting of Dark Matter Cores.
3. First Nations will be offered employment opportunities but not forced, training for these jobs will be provide by Joanne Ecological and Indigenous Cooperation Board who have many Tribe Elders sitting on it already. Their heritage will be maintained. They won’t be left behind.
4. This is a alternative to the North Bend and South Bend Dams which has long term negative effects to the environment as well as First Nation inhabitants who still live off the land here. Indigenous fishing practices are in danger from the dams and Dark Matter is the preferred alternative to this.
5. Begins the building of intergalactic ”tunnels” which will be first used for returning harvested Dark Matter, that once ready for public will assist in pathways towards full galactic relationships.  
6. funding: this will be granted thanks to the G.O.A.T renewable energy program which has received generation donations from the self made Billionaire Kelisandre Kardashian (a descendant of the Kardashian Royals on Earth)

To end this debate about dark matter from the planet G.O.A.T. I will propose a new energy bill to the Senate leader @Sir.Sim

We have slept enough on fusion energy at this point, despite it not just being green energy but also highly effective and low maintenance cost. We have found sources for Deuterium and Helium-3 on our own planet which will provide the fuel and we have the scientists and the technology already here, so we don't need to ask for help from other planets.

Data Infrastructure and Collection (DIC) Act

Data is a valuable resource that guides us to efficiently allocate precious resources to maximise the benefits to Chromaticans. For this to function well, we need to have vast amount of data, which can be done via crowdsourcing. The data collected would also need to be stored in a private and secure manner.

In this bill, the effective date refers to 30 days after the bill is passed into law.

Collection

The following sets out the auto-enrolment procedure:

• On the effective date, Chromaticans above or equal the age of 18 will automatically be enrolled into the data collection.
• After the effective date, Chromaticans will automatically be enrolled into the data collection when they turn 18.

The following sets out the opt-out and opt-back-in procedures:

• Chromaticans can choose to opt out from data collection 90 days after enrolment.
• Chromaticans can choose to opt back in any time of their choosing.

The data provided from Chromaticans will help to cut cost across public services, and the savings will be passed on to Chromatican citizens.

The following sets out the reward procedure:

• Upon auto-enrolment, Chromaticans will receive a free government-issued mobile device of their choosing.
• Chromaticans that stay enrolled for a continuous period of 2 years will receive a free government-issuedmobile device of their choosing.
• All government-issued devices receive unlimited data allowance on the 8G network.
• The government will issue the following mobile devices*, including but not limited to
  • A smartphone
  • A tablet
  • A pair of AR glasses tethered to a fitness tracker

*The list of mobile devices is subject to change and does not require an amendment of the act once it's passed into law.

Infrastructure

The following infrastructure will be set up to harness and protect the data collected.

• An independent body will be set up by Congress to handle the data collected. This is to ensure that the Government has no direct access to the data collected.
• Multiple campuses to recruit data scientists for analytics.
• Multiple server sites for data transfer and storage, including backups.
• Physical infrastructure to shield the server sites from foreign invasion.
• Digital infrastructure to protect against hacking from foreign attacks.
