Studying I guess. And watching videos. So it’s on for pretty long during the day. I don’t leave it charging forever though. I had one dell laptop which had a really bad battery problem even though I have never left it to charge overnight and I have another dell which had screen flickering issues but I didn’t drop it or anything tho :icant: it’s really not my fault but everyone I’ve spoken to assumes it is :gaga-scream:

Do you need a lot of processing power for studies? Do you have a budget? Which country are you from?

Oh wow I didn’t consider these questions at all. I don’t think I have thought about the processing power but for sure I would love my laptop to be fast in the sense that it has at least 8 ram? I didn’t really consider cost this time because I was just planning to get the new MacBook as a birthday gift for myself because an apple ecosystem would be nice...  I’m an exchange student in Singapore currently! So the price is cheaper here than the states I guess

I don’t think the price difference is huge but that also depends on where you live in the States, I guess. In the US, you can return the Mac if you don’t like it but not in Singapore, I think.

The MacBook Air with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage is priced at USD999 (USD 899 for students). The M1 chip should be fast enough. I’m assuming you don’t have to run special software for your studies.

The new ones coming next week will probably start at USD 1799 or above.

I think I’m getting myself the 13 Pro soon. (Maybe even this week nnn) My iPhone XR is so slow and glitchy I just can’t take it anymore :rip:

Also hopefully the iPad Air for my Christmas present :delulu_bird:

The way I swore I’d never be one of those people with both MacBook and iPad yet here we are :rip:

Rich Russian oligarchy behaviour jumped out

Better buy the iPhone soon though. The waiting time is so long :icant:
