H*tler comparisons are lazy but I can't stop thinking about how total system collapse made both H*tler and Putin incredibly vengeful and maniacal about restoring the past. Now, we're all bystanders in this futile effort and tons of people are going to die for nothing.

Tbf it was very hard to predict Russia’s next move. The possibility of invasion was of course something that could happen but it seemed so drastic at the time.

I'm still in shock our governments received and disseminated the correct intel??? I honestly can't think of a similar situation in my lifetime because they're usually underplaying intel (COVID), spreading fake intel (Iraq War), or they keep the good stuff for themselves (killing Osama lol)
