She's always dying it as her natural color is brown! 

Maybe there is a difference in making it blonde though

Thanks, I hate it! Who wants to listen to a song about an amicable breakup? Plus, I don't buy her waving the white flag at all considering If It Ain't Me, That Kind of Woman and Not My Problem (all very on theme with FN).
