I mean tiktok is so relevant towards music consumption nowadays that its not surprising at all, just saw a Miley clip talking about how invested labels are on tiktok (this was before Flowers lmao)

big major label artists will always get unfair advantages, be it radio plays, booking performances on big tv shows, playlist placement, or tiktok trends 

just because it's pushed doesn't mean it sticks but yeah not surprised Taylor is taking advantage of this considering how success-driven (to avoid other less friendly descriptors) she is
