A recap:

The HomePod was announced on 5 June 2017 at WWDC and launched on 9 February 2018 for $349. The price is then permanently dropped to $299 on 4 April 2019.

It has 7 tweeters, 4 woofers and 6 microphones. It carries 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. The system-on-chip is the Apple A8 chip, first introduced in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in late 2014.
