Hello!

I'm Dirkje. I will introduce myself properly because I came on GGD like a month before the drama happened lol.

I'm 27, from the Netherlands and I go by she/her/hers. 

Even though I wasnt active on GGD for years, I spent those years on other forums. Thats why even if this inactivity is true, I know quite a lot of people in forums world. I have been on OperationGaga(mentioning it makes me happy because of the good memories and I love how I see familiar faces even after so many years!), ThePopZone, Chuch of Pop, I had my own (but failed) and was on a few smaller forums(and less known)

I stan Gaga obviosly, but I also stan Dua Lipa, Katy Perry, The Fifth Harmony girls, unperfect, Grace VanderWaal and I just discovered Rina Sawayama. 

Nice to meet you all/its nice to be here and hopefully we can continue becoming friends.

Heyyy, how y'all doing .. 

My username on another website was also @/Interlude but some of you may have previously known me as @/Tokyo. I made the switch last year to feel more safe against a few members and to make interacting with discriminatory posts feel less vulnerable. I tucked myself away and tried to speak as generally as possible. Saying my name here with my gender identity and pronouns feels huge for me, I didn't really feel like I would be able to. Thank you so much to anyone who has ever joined in on a thread to help fight against discrimination. It meant the most to see others standing up for you when you didn't always feel like you could yourself or felt too beat down. I'm excited to see what is ahead for myself and others on here I care about. As cathartic as this is there will be more to come in the need of expressing the struggle that we've long endured and the damaging effects that it's had in our personal lives. I hope we can work on healing together.

Until then, thank you for having me and thank you for creating a safe space.

I called out gaslighting and racism and was banned, so, a necessary stir lol. Hopefully this site can feel like home the way GGD did 8 years ago.

an ex- Princess member so say hello if you remember me. I’m alot more grown up these days than then and yes I think that needs to be said. Yes alot of my threads on GGD or posts were just “trollish” alot were to lighten the moods of people- but don’t stress the mods gave me many WP’s. I was on the verge of being banned and actually wanted it as I hated it there but the dramatic in me wanted to go out in a bang. Doot and Twitter just beat me to it! 
 

I want to be more who I am in everyday life here and I feel already this place is a much more supportive environment.

Hi everyone!

My name is Phillip and I live in Richmond, Virginia, USA. I was a fairly active member on GGD since Joanne came out and decided to jump ship lately. I am already enjoying this forum much more and very excited to see it grow. 

I have a job as a mortgage loan processor and I recently graduated from college with a BA in Sociology with a minor in Music. I've been playing piano and singing (as a hobby, not that great) for years so dissecting and discussing music really, really excites me. Mental health and social issues/politics are both big passions of mine (as you may know from GGD and my degree in sociology). 

I look forward to playing a part in making this place an incredible home for so many pop music fans from all walks of life.

I joined poisondaily back in 2012 however I was on the website in 2011. I’ve met sooooo many lovely people over the years and I’m sure I’m going to meet them here too!

 I’m a bit late to the game on here I only joined yesterday - I’m still getting through the 40 page thread too. 

Its wonderful this place exists, I wanted to point out how truly shocked I am reading how many of you have been banned this year, it’s absolutely out of order. 
 

I don’t know who made this forum, and u don’t have to say, but damn your awesome .
