@Spinning Bottles - I looooove pears. However, I don't like them when they are all juicy and mushy. They have to be hard for me to eat them. But when they are, it's pure heaven.

@GitHub - A good pear is great, but the thing about pears is... if you take the most basic mid-range apple like a Gala, even one that's not very good, it's still consumable. A bad pear is a BAD pear and there is usually no way to know until you've bitten in. That potential mealiness is a big no for me.
