i really struggled with what is defined as a ballad in my hungover only having 20 minutes before I had to leave for work state. The curse of the winners being in the bottom will absolutely be the case this time. :laughga::leap:

Don't worry. Apparently, a lot of folks have struggled with the word "ballad." :icant: I mean, to be fair, it is a wide umbrella (ranging from power ballads to sentimental love songs belted out by powerhouse divas)...Odds are, you'll be fine. And at least you had a decent excuse.

Exactly. It's so silly too because I KNOW what I define as a ballad but I know there are so many "ballad" genres out there. My mind always goes to slow songs, but then 80s power ballads...etc. I tried to play it safe, regardless :billie:

I struggled with the definition too :bradley:I also immediately think slow songs, but up tempo songs can be ballads too. I think the story-telling aspect is key here as well. One of my picks is definitely controversial but it was approved by @PETTY so we shall see if others think too...

Welcome to The Challenge 05 results! There were some great trios this round. Some trios stood out, and some just blended in. It was a tough decision for some voters this round, leaving us with some interesting results.

I always had doubts between two trios which one I thought deserved my vote. I was hoping the one I didnt vote for would have enough votes. Now its in the vote off and now I can say I voted for both of my fave trios :D

Even though its anonymous, sometimes I can guess who created the trio. (No, I wont spill anything while the game is still going) I usually pick the one that speaks to me the most. And now I had two favorites and I can turn the situation into positive and support both :D
