Literally just saw that on my timeline :laughga:

At this point she needs to be expelled from Congress. She’s by far the most unprofessional, unhinged member in Congress and the GOP leadership have done nothing but given her a slap on the wrist.

Also she looks f-ing creepy in every video I see her in.

She’s so deranged it’s terrifying honestly. What a creep. I completely agree.

I’m seeing stories from friends about full a** adults temper tantruming in stores when asked to wear masks because of the new CDC recommendations.  Even saw someone say that men are starting to harass her in public to “show that smile” and take off the mask. I just hate people so much

My boyfriend works retail and he said yesterday how he just knows that the new CDC guidance is gonna cause hassle because people are gonna expect to be able to walk in maskless everywhere now....I feel for him..I have an office job where I work remotely but he’s was unemployed for a while due to covid and then finally their store reopened and it’s been a long stretch for him...he once told me a story of an anti mask parade happening on their street where they were going up to business doors and yelling “SHOW US YOUR SMILE” with a megaphone...psychos

Imma need the Biden Admin to switch their standing real fast ala the refugee cap, cause Queen AOC spilling hot tea. Refusing to support the UN statement for a ceasefire is...f-ing awful honestly and y’all know I lean left and support Biden but even I can say I hate this stance the admin is taking.

I have no issues supporting our allies duh, but we need to be able to speak up to those allies and denounce their actions when they are abhorrent. And not only that, we need to not ignore obvious human rights issues that are occurring right now in the Gaza Stripe just because it’s Israel.

Also, I have no issue with the Iron Dome and us protecting Israel, it’s there to protect citizens and children and families, but it’s sad that people would never want that same type of protection for the Palestinians....the power struggle/chasm (I don’t know if those are the right words) is very clear to see. One is powered by the US and one is not.

Anyone have any thoughts/anything they’d like to add?

An authoritarian minority (who’s President never won the popular vote) packing the Supreme Court with Pro-life judges at an attempt to overturn historic and monumental woman’s rights legislation...democracy at work people :mess:

Thought this might be the best place for this post.

Parler returns to the App Store today. To comply with Apple's App Store guidelines, certain topics will not be available on the iOS app but will continue to be available on the web and the Android app.

This is why I support an independent process, outside of political pressure, to select Supreme Court picks based on merit, not on who’s views are most in line with the President at the time. It’s awful how tainted our judicial system is in this country.

In the UK, all 12 supreme court justices agreed that Boris Johnson acted illegally to prorogue parliament in 2019. :billie:

Idk how to feel on that statement

I mean it’s good that he’s calling for a ceasefire..but yeah that’s about it lol.

Definitely won’t get the hard handed stance that I think most of us want in this case, especially after bribing down the AP/Journalist building  :katy:

It’s a step in the right direction..I guess...

I’m so f-ing sick of this “Israel can defend itself” rhetoric.

You don’t get to bomb out and settle in place of people that you don’t like and then whine when they hit back. Israel does not have the right to ethically cleanse Palestinians full stop.  And the people hiding behind the idea that any criticism of Israel or Zionism is Anti-Semitic can f- off into the sun

The German Supreme Court also gets (basically) picked by the ruling parties and yet they have always been much more progressive and often turned the plans of the ruling parties around.

It doesn't always work but it seems that more people have faith in our Supreme Court, due to them being 90% neutral, than in our ruling parties :billie:

This is pretty big news and really good for the democrats, Val is a well known name, especially in FL. She was shortlisted for Biden’s running mate and was the only non lawyer impeachment manager in 45s first impeachment...also lowkey loved seeing her go after Jim Jordan down below....:laughga:

FL's gonna be tough for a Dem to win in a midterm of a Democratic president, but Val Demings is a great candidate. The thing is, so is Marco Rubio (in terms of how he plays in FL), so it will be tough.

I don’t think she’ll be able to flip the seat. Florida, at this point, is a Republican state. And though it’s not a deep red state, it’s still definitely one that is very conservative and probably unwilling to vote a Democrat in anytime soon.

It feels that Florida is becoming more and more republican, but the biggest difference this election was that the Democrats heavily lost in the Miami-Dade area. Those mainly came down to the fact that republicans were successful in tying the dems with socialism and the large cuban-american population went quite hard for the GOP. If the dems are willing to get dirty, invest in get out to vote initiatives like in Georgia and attack the Republicans by tying their antics with the anti-democracy of Fidel Castro, there could be a surprise win.

:laughga:......in all seriousness cant say I’m too shocked that it took illegal funds to win her race. Susan knew how bad the people of Maine wanted her out and that was the only reason why she voted no on ACB, one last pathetic move to save her seat.

what a lucky b*ch to win re-election...it made me so mad honestly. Lowkey love that I’m known for hating her guts, even online forums like this one though :laughga:

literally turned to my boyfriend “look honey even people online know how much I hate Susan Collins, they tag me in articles about her demise” :dead:
